Bank Status: Horrible!

Why have a guild bank?

There are many reasons but I can only point out a few that I can think of...

(1) There are a few spell resist set necessary for tanks/off-tanks to use in 25-man in order to beat particular bosses. Those are expensive. Since this is more of a guild use, guild bank will need to fund the set. One example is against Hydross in SSC, high amount of nature and frost resist necessary. Another one is Solarian in TK: The Eye. Very high Arcane resistance needed.

(2) Another reason to have a guild bank - shards from unused epics. These will be used for expensive enchants. Only high-end weapon/gear will be considered to use the shards from the bank. Meaning, guild bank will provide void crystals for soulfrost, sunfire, mongoose, etc as long as the weapon/gear will be used for a long. I, Classic, typically knows what items will be used for a while. If the weapon/gear is easily replaced, the guild bank will not use the void crystals.

(3) And lastly, it's nice for a guild bank to have a more liquid asset = GOLD! This way I can take gold out whenever I want to twink a character ... oops! Gold will be for occasional raiding respecs, i.e. warriors from prot to dps, etc ... and any other emergency guild expenses.

My suggestion is to do the following:

1) Single loot gold from a boss.
2) Master loot trash green, blue, epic items if they're not needed - vendor/AH for gold.

We can do either one or both.

For now, here's our fatty guild bank:
